The 2012 Star-Spangled Banner Proof Commemorative Silver Dollar - Comes In Its Original Mint Box With Certificate Of Authenticity

The United States National Anthem was first penned as "The Defence Of Fort McHenry" in 1814 by Francis Scott Key. The Proof Silver Dollar coin was produced in response to the Star-Spangled Banner Commemorative Coin Act (Public Law 111-232).

The obverse shows Lady Liberty waving the 15-star, 15-stripe Star-Spangled Banner flag. Inscriptions include: LIBERTY, IN GOD WE TRUST, and 2012. The reverse features a modern American flag waving in the wind. Inscriptions include: ONE DOLLAR, E PLURIBUS UNUM and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
